At the southern end of the point, a beautiful little park named after a respected local resident from a longtime family in the area. At least that's what it said on the back of the sign.
Pointy end of the southern end of the Point.
Yurulbin Point (right) and Goat Island (left) with the city behind.
Looking south to the city. Balls Head on the left with the Harbour Bridge peaking over the top, Yurulbin Point at centre-right.
Looking south to Birchgrove across a busy stretch of water.
Greenwich Wharf looking north-west along Greenwich Point.
Path leading to Greenwich wharf.
Mad fig.
Beautiful big old house across from Mary Carlson Park.

Pearler of a day, pearler of a point.

Also a deceptive point. One map says the southern edge is Greenwich Point, another says it’s the northern bit. We present to you mostly the southern bit with a bit of the north.

The locals must love the restful Mary Carlson Park above Greenwich Wharf. Lots of shade plus a picnic table and water bubbler.
